We could all hop on the Dark Web or revert to Gopher. If you don't mind endlessly warring with script kiddies trying to knock you offline using scripts they barely understand, you could also use Internet Relay Chat (IRC). Nobody's using short-wave radio much these days--perhaps that would enable content producers to circumvent censorship, though AFAIK it couldn't be interactive. USB dead-drops in old oak trees could provide a totally airgapped solution to clandestinity if needed. And of course there's underground printing on paper. God knows what all else there must be for the antinomian enquiring mind. Encryption exists.
Censorship on the internet per se is relatively easy to frustrate. Social media themselves are avoidable if you really don't agree with their toad-eating "community standards." Look at 4chan. But then you are in the realm of the timewasters who favor VPNs and the rest of that as well as the unhinged conspiracy-minded. I suppose groups.io could impose "community standards" pretty easily, come to that. It seems as though at present "going underground" isn't really necessary.
