You can't. End of story. The anti-meat agenda tends to be a historical in the sense of how livestock partnered with human culture and economics. And the 'metabolic' ecology humans & livestock created. Anti-meat is really about driving animals from the landscape economy. When I read the Marxian rationales for being anti-meat (and there are a few attempts ) I think that they aren't really Marxist. That doesn't mean that a Marxist cannot be 'anti-meat' (and still be a Marxist -- I know plenty of those) but please don't go calling on Marxism to justify your personal position. While there are far too many claims being made about herbivores saving the planet, the research is nonetheless veering more and more on the ruminants' side. But it isn't that simple either. The ecology NOT the diet. It will be a new relationship as we cannot replicate the past. The countryside may be regenerated , but it cannot be returned to the way it was.
