The dominant expert take on the Great Barrington proposal is that it
blithely disregards the atrocious death toll that “herd immunity”
strategies, such as the Declaration’s “focused protection” approach, are
likely to produce. At the same time, the statementegregiously
misrepresents

long-term damage the virus might inflict upon those it infects but
