This is a bit belated, but now that Professor Hiebert has stood up with all his Monty Python camouflage in ridiculously plain view, perhaps its just as well to point out the obvious rejoinder to this, which is that two wrongs don't make a right. I am no defender of TULIP or Calvin--still less of the born-again Southern Jesus perverts and their disgusting kind. But this does not exonerate the you-know-what of you-know-where, which is guilty of being what I said in the first place.
As a matter of historical fact--and bearing in mind that Hitler was a Catholic who never fully renounced the Church, BTW--I have no idea which party is the more guilty, but my money would be on the Catholics. They have so much so their credit--Franco, Father Tiso, Father Coughlin, Pius the Twelfth, and all the Inquisitors, not to mention the evil princes whom the Church supported.
