In 2016, I watched election coverage on Fox News. It was the first time in my
life I had watched anything on Fox apart from The Simpsons. Like everyone else,
I expected Clinton to win, and I was in no mood for the triumphalism of CNN.

This was the first time I had even heard of Tucker Carlson. All night long, he
made comments that were fully in line with what any Marxist would say. I
started to think he was their token lefty. I can see why Greenwald would call
him a socialist.

On that matter, the definition of "socialist" is as broad as it ever was. There
are Christian socialists like Elizabeth Bruenig, utopian socialists like Nathan
J. Robinson, Marxist socialists like <choose your favorite>.

If Tucker Carlson is any kind of socialist, we'll know. It won't be necessary
for it to be revealed to us as if through an oracle.
