George -- Check out the Pacifica Radio Archives at https://wbai.org/archive/
I just played around with it a bit -- it looks like you would have to pay for a copy of whatever's been digitized, or pay to have a tape recording digitized. You can get the titles and other info re programs with Marcuse, and could perhaps use that to find the material elsewhere. For example, you can pay $17.95 for a CD of a talk at Stanford, "The Work of Paul Baran", broadcast by KPFA. Or you can read a transcript published by Monthly Review at https://monthlyreview.org/2014/03/01/barans-critique-modern-society-social-sciences/ I'm not clear on what you're specifically looking for. As an example (but not from the 1960s), Pacifica has "Three talks about new directions in education" given by Marcuse at The New School in 1970, and broadcast on WBAI. See https://www.pacificaradioarchives.org/recording/bb382601-03?nns=Marcuse Pacifica has not digitized those talks. But, just as an example, you can find audio of "The New Sensibility" at https://www.youtube.com /watch?v=TBWiiFtqq84 Feel free to contact me if you believe I can provide assistance. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
