Good interview. I'm glad the topic of supporting the Democratic Party was brought up, as well as hinting that so-called "progressive" Democrats do not go far enough in challenging the ruling class. When I became disillusioned with the Greens several years ago, the support of Democratic Party candidates by the DSA was a big turn off for me. It would be nice if the merger of DSA and SA finally forces the DSA to end the foolish practice of supporting a right wing party, like the Democrats. That you can't be a Marxist inside a party that promotes capitalism, and imperialism should be the most obvious thing in the world.
