I'm confused about Professor Lause's point here, not having all his previous posts at hand. How does the rebarbative "Hamilton" craze map on to the 1610 Project, which he appears also to be depreciating? The Hamilton nonsense seems to be building up the saccharine cult of the Floundering Bothers, while the 1610 Project purports to demystify it. Not clear on "misrepresent[ing] the causes" etc. or what is meant by "partisan" in this context. Too much to unpack with any clarity. Shrapnel flying everywhere.
