The second day of negotiations between the Duque government and the
National Strike Committee here in Colombia ended with an even wider gap
than the talks began. The video at the link below is the statement of the
strike committee. Briefly, it  begins...


   1. Duque has declared war on the strike by ordering the
   maximum mobilization of the military and police against peaceful
   demonstrators.
   2. There have been more than 50 assassinations, more than 1,500 people
   detained, nearly 500 people disappeared. International humanitarian law has
   been violated, more than 20 women have been raped. The government refuses
   to respond to this violence that has been repudiated by the
   international community.

For these reasons we say, "Duque, stop the massacre, President Duque."
