Why run independents?
They usually lose. They get blamed for splitting the vote. Our electoral
system has been stacked against them for centuries. Right now, America’s
two-party system is as hard as concrete.
It’s easier to run socialist candidates in Democratic primaries. There
is no formal mechanism for the Democrats to keep us off the ballot.
Legally, we could run ski-masked Antifa Democrats in every primary
election and Joe Biden could do nothing to stop it without changing the law.
All of these statements are true.*But we should still run independents.*
