The agency stated, on its Twitter page, Tuesday, that more than 100 of its employees are concerned about the treatment of their former colleague, journalist Emily Wilder. The agency indicated that a committee of volunteers will be formed that will submit until next September proposals to the foundation (the agency) related to changes in social media principles. The agency confirmed that it would consider proposals related to social media principles. On Friday, "Associated Press" suspended journalist Wilder from work, due to her criticism of the way the media dealt with Israeli practices against Palestinians in the "Sheikh Jarrah" neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem. The agency's management sent an email to its employees informing them of cutting off ties with journalist Wilder, and the content of the message later spread on social media. Speaking to the "Washington Post" newspaper, the American Jewish journalist Wilder expressed her surprise at not knowing the media principles that penetrated her, indicating that she did not know what were the principles that the agency invoked in the dismissal decision.
