Not exactly. There have been some substantial pieces on Grayzone. It is mostly Ken Silverstein and Andrew Stewart's bully pulpit. I've known Ken since the late 80s when he was the publisher and editor of the original CounterPunch, which only came out in print. He interviewed me on the mass firing of people in Goldman Sach's IT group, mostly people with their names ending in vowels, if you gather my drift. Andrew is probably the only person who could be Ken's partner in such a project because he is even more high-strung than him. I have no idea how Ken gets by financially nowadays. He is surely in his 70s. His career is to be reckoned with. He has been a top-notch investigative reporter for many respected magazines, especially Harpers. I was a big fan of his writing but only became estranged after he criticized articles I had written for Washington Babylon on the DSA and Max Blumenthal's "The Management of Savagery" on the same space as the article. Can you imagine Jeffrey St. Clair doing this? These articles were written on request from Andrew, I should add. Ken reached out to me about six months ago and we've patched things up. Clearly, it helps that he has gone on a crusade against Grayzone.
