It is interesting to note that E. O. Wilson's writings on sociobiology received 
a surprisingly favorable reception in the Soviet Union. It was not for some 
years that critiques of the sort put forth by Richard Lewontin, Richard Levins 
and Stephen Jay Gould, began to gain traction in the Soviet Union. I discussed
