Reading this jacobin article redundantly exposing Nimarata N. Randhawa's politics may be a waste of your time, but it won't compare to the waste of time spend quibbling over protest numbers. John Edmundson's comment should have been enough said, "It seems to me that an argument over how exaggerated the numbers are compared to previous demonstrations misses the point that large demonstrations are being mounted in the belly of the beast." https://jacobin.com/2024/01/nikki-haley-south-carolina-scandal-mismanagement Nikki Haley’s political career has been great for corporate executives and campaign donors. For everyone else, particularly workers and the poor, it’s been terrible. If 2000 people march to protest Nikki let's claim it was 200,000. That might make the news, although the protest against Israel's genocide would have been mostly ignored regardless of the real numbers.
