Sounds a bit like Ukraine's historical treatment of Jews, resident ethnic
Russians and other minorities.
Look, few of the European countries, and fewer even among the Eastern
European countries, have a record to brag about of mistreatment of minority
populations in their midst. The problem for Crimea is not Russia, it is a
Putrin dictatorship and the fact also that it iw a region under attack by
Ukraine. War zones and nations at war are notiorious for mistreating
potential enemies within their borders. Think of the Nesei in the US in
WWII or German-Americans or German immigrants in the US during WWII.

Dave.
