I post comments on the NY Times as Al M.. My comment on this piece -- My comment (posted at 8a.m. and finally up at 4p.m.) and possibly since, removed.
I'm glad to see some truth in the Times on this vital issue. Just last week, Biden, again, in the face of everything we have witnessed, authorized more arms shipments including more than 1,800 MK84 2,000-pound bombs and 500 MK82 500-pound bombs, as well as 25 F-35A fighter jets and engines worth approximately $2.5 billion. Our foreign policy of arming and supporting a genocide is criminal, even by our own laws, which must begin to be enforced. Tariq Baconi does the important work of explaining why the two-state solution is wrong. Apartheid's brutality and the blood-letting of "ethnic cleansing" can not be tolerated, much less supported, anywhere in the world.
