The problem with self-driving cars is not that the US and other governments 
have not allowed them.  The problem is that they don't work, won't work, and 
can't work IMHO.  The article doesn't mention deaths and lawsuits, but that's 
what self-driving cars have led to in the US, https://wapo.st/4aSXns0

Why would anything be different in China? It's been nine years since 
"self-driving mode" was announced by Musk, who is not an engineer or a 
scientist but graduated from the same undergraduate program and school as 
Trump, Trust Fund Baby University.  

The only question that I have is whether China will be as tolerant of 
self-driving car fatalities as the US, or will they eventually be prosecuting 
Musk for manslaughter?
