Alarm continues to mount about the risk of accidental nuclear war resulting from the rapid and largely uncontrolled development of artificial intelligence
Prompted by the war in Ukraine and other conflicts between the major nuclear powers, the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists moved its Doomsday Clock to 90 seconds to midnight last year, the closest its been to nuclear Armageddon than at any time in its 77 year history.
