please don'[t get me wrong -- I believe millions will die in China during the response to catastrophe but the cnetralized state will remake the economy as carbon neutral MUCH FASTER than the rest of the world --- and the massive populatioin transfers that will be necessary will also be possible --- AND, China is big enough to become self-sufficient as it was in the pre-capitalist era ---
