The quote of Nicolaus about "baby burners" reminds me of the innocence lost
over the past half century. Today, the deaths of central and western Asian
civilian from the so-called "US War on Terror" is twice as large as the number
of civilian Vietnamese deaths and probably more than twice the number of child
victims that Nicolaus referred to in 1967. Where's the outrage?

The Iceberg seems to me like a metaphor for the social division of labor in the
US war economy.

thanks, Mark
