That production did not suffer at all under the Biden administration, but the industry executives are willing to spend hundreds of millions to stop any progress towards reducing fossil-fuel dependency, and profits. So, they are flirting with Trump despite the disappointments the industry suffered under Trump even after he awarded the US State Department to EXXON.
