L'Université du Québec à Montréal The news this morning is that UQAM governing Board has voted unanimously last night for a motion to demand a ceasefire for Gaza and ask that no cooperation with Israeli universities happens now or in the future along with no investment in companies link to arm sales and/or production to Israel. It seems that the encampment student organizers are ready to accept the proposal and dismantle the camp. They will hold a press conference at 11 am. It will be interesting to see how McGill will now react.
