How can anybody take this article seriously? In fact, how can anybody take seriously a journal which publishes this self-important nonsense? One needn't have a phd. in physics or biology to understand that two things can occur simultaneously that have no real relationship with each other, never mind a causal relationship. "Hundreds" of protests on college and university campuses? Does the author know that there are nearly six thousand such campuses? And what was the percentage of students at those hundreds of campuses who actually participated? All polls show that the issue of Israel/Palestine ranks quite low in importance for all voters, including young voters. Yes, Biden's support for Israel's genocidal war has caused support for him to plummet among Arab American voters, but don't forget that many of them were already Republicans, so they wouldn't have voted for him anyway. There is only one state whose outcome might be affected by Biden's support for Israel - Michigan - and even that is not certain.
The article is simply wishful thinking by those who like to carry on inside the left echo chamber. It's a perfect example of why the socialist left is going nowhere fast in the U.S. John Reimann -- *“Science and socialism go hand-in-hand.” *Felicity Dowling Check out:https:http://oaklandsocialist.com also on Facebook -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
