Yes, things look bleak today, but recall Lenin in exile in Switzerland in
the fall of 1916, telling followers that "the older generation (he was 46!)
probably would never live to see the revolution but it was up to them to
prepare the younger activists.
A few months later, the Tsar was overthrown.
