If the reviewer is correct, it only shows how shallow an anti-imperialist Vishay Prashad is. Does any half-knowledgeable leftist rank the U.S. Zionists' lobby above the economic and strategic interests of U.S. monopoly capitalism as the reason for its "ossified" support of Israel? But Prashad tells us the gusano lobby is the principal reason for the U.S. oppression of Cuba. In addition, Prashad is a lapdog of Chinese expansionism, so he plays down or ignores China's effort to lure Cuba into its orbit.
