It's worth remembering that voter participation was very low and he got only about half that. So it was more like a third of the electorate than the majority or the landslide we keep hearing about. The most effectively focused campaign centered on the active promotion of really stupid disinformation. Harris being a Commie. Democrats aborting babies at nine months and later. Etc. Etc. Etc.
