If we’re going to persist in calling Bolshevik-Leninists, and advocates of the theory of Permanent Revolution Trotskyites we may as well just agree it’s fitting to call advocates of the Popular Front, Socialism in One Country, the Bloc of Four Classes and settling political differences with pick axes Stalinoids. Suck it up and pull up your big boy panties! Most of the M-L’s, out Stalinists and closeted Stalinists I have known over the last 50 years did not consider the Moniker Stalinist a pejorative. I see no reason to protect their vanity on this discussion venue. Stalinism is a defined political ideology which practices class collaboration, defending the privileges of the bureaucracy at the expense of workers power and enforcing those privileges with violence and murder of revolutionary workers and intellectuals. There is no need to hide this by abolishing the word. Such would be anti-historical and a concession to the Stalin’s erasure of and rewriting of history. Exposing the method and history of the Stalinists is preferable to name calling designed to end debate with angry dismissal. Undoubtedly there are many moments in history members of this list serve would be expeditiously dispatching each other. Yet, here we are . While a modicum of decorum would be nice on this list we all know that you have to break the eggs to make the omelette. Bring the whisk and let’s get on with it!
