Small response to a small part of Hari's question/comments: the SEP, from what ex-SEPers have told me have between 80 to 200 depending on the month/year as they have something of a rotating membership of people joining, becoming disillusioned and then dropping out. That is in the U.S. of course. They have a few supporters in the Canadian State and a few dozen in several other countries.
