Imagine someone who writes under the banner of 'Direct Democracy Movement'
advocating even more imperialist Russian control over the uber-repressive,
genocidal Syrian dictatorship, which boasts the world's biggest torture
gulag, in order to save it.

As for the claim by Abraham that "the funding and equipping of the rebel
forces by the NATO agency would constitute an imperialist initiative," well
the problem is of course that there is zero such funding of HTS and the
Syrian rebellion by "NATO" or the US at all, in fact the statement by the
National Security Council made clear they consider HTS a "terrorist
organisation," which just happens to be the same word used by the South
Front article, " On November 27, terrorist groups led by Hayat Tahrir
al-Sham began a major offensive ..." Odd, because until just a couple of
days ago Abraham was saluting the new uprising against Assad.

South Front of course is a Russian-owned far-right publication, which also
tries to impress gullible leftists. For example, in relation to the
Australian far-right (and of course pro-Putin) Austrian Freedom Party
(FPO), here's some choice words from the site:

“One can say that this election is not only a choice between right and left
but also a choice between conservative and liberal. This election was
crucial for political developments within the European Union. Now, in
addition to Hungary, there is also a strong critical movement in Austria
against totalitarian politics from Brussels.

Even if the FPÖ does not come into government, the party has the
opportunity to do a good job in parliament. In addition, this party will
now continue to advance. The party can now continue to build up its
structures and will also have good opportunities in the regional elections.

But the most important thing is the effect on European politics. This
election has shown us that a party also has a chance of coming to first
place, even though all the structures of the system are mobilizing all
possibilities against this political force.

This fact will give many political forces in Europe great courage to
continue the political struggle. The small country of Austria sent an
important signal to all countries in Europe by this election. Continuous
efforts in politics can still mobilize voters even at a time when the
system’s media is omnipotent.

*Even scandals in the FPÖ’s past and divisions in the party did not manage
to prevent this victory. In the long term, this party will play an
important role in future politics in Austria. And other patriotic parties
in Europe can also have this future.”*

Or the far-right Islamophobic, anti-immigrant riots in the UK following the
horrific killing of three girls by a young Christian UK-born citizen:

“It is unfortunate when the masses resort to violence to be heard, but the
people of the UK have finally snapped after years of begging their elected
officials to close the borders. Around 672,000 illegals entered the UK in
2023 alone, with 84,000 claiming asylum. The foreign-born population
reached 14.5% by 2021, and has doubled since the beginning of the decade.
The open border policy never faltered when Britain left the EU.

Nigel Farage is one of the only politicians in the UK to question what is
happening in his country. “I just wonder whether the truth is being
withheld from us. I don’t know the answer to that, but I think it is a fair
and legitimate question,” Farage stated when the riots first began. He has
condemned the riots but has at least acknowledged why the people are
enraged. “The majority of our population can see the fracturing of our
communities as a result of mass, uncontrolled immigration, whether legal or
illegal,” Farage said. “Yet to attempt to debate this in the public arena
leads to immediate howls of condemnation. A population explosion without
integration was always going to end badly. I have said this for many years.
We must have a more honest debate about these vital issues and give people
the confidence that there are political solutions that are relevant to
them. A recall of Parliament would be an appropriate start to this.”

England is hardly a Christian nation as the migrant crisis has permanently
changed the landscape. In the United Kingdom, for example, Islam is the
second-largest religion. … There is nothing inherently wrong with the
religion of course, but it is understandable that people want to maintain
their own nation’s traditions, religion, and morals.”
