There seems to me to be another major snag with Biden's pardoning of his son. It gives a precedent to Trump, who can use it as an excuse to pardon any of his supporters who get prosecuted. This will encourage the Trumpers to engage in all sorts of violent activity, with their acting in the knowledge that, if they actually get found guilty in the courts, they nonetheless could well be let off by Trump.
