Most here are familiar with the Anarchist history of direct actions -- like 
that of Berkman -- and see them as a mistake that usually makes things worse, 
from roundups and deportations to world war. Yet, the murder of an insurance 
CEO has sparked sympathy and discussion awakening a powerful public outrage -- 
not only at greedy, murderous insurance but at corporate power. Note the

This is a vital awakening and thus, a rare successful direct action. I see this 
as inspiring in this rotten time of corporate dominance.  Somehow it must be 
pushed toward building a e rebellion against corporate rule.
