Don't know this field of "genocide studies," but Klein's article has nothing 
about exploring the causes and material bases of genocide. It seems to be 
another one of the new academic "disciplines" that are mostly about carving out 
one or another niche for crass reasons. These fields do not aim to grasp their 
supposed object of study with the hand of reason.
