I think it's a good policy if each grownup gets to state their own opinions and
leaves others to explain theirs. I mean, why is AB more likely to mis-remember,
mistake, or misrepresent something than any other well-established contributor
to the list? And that includes John, who like many of us has made mistakes and
committed misquotes in the past. I once alerted JR to one in his Oakland
Socialist blog, IIRC, and he corrected it. Of course, he could have contested
it if he thought that I was wrong. That's how we should treat others'
contributions - rather than as a pot of sinful sentences that need acts of
contrition.
