The 2012 result was 38% PRI, 32% PRD. The PRD charged vote-buying, campaign spending violations, and receiving more radio and television time than the rules allowed. But the PRD never got traction claiming that the undoubted abuses were so bad that the PRI did not win. (Compare Maduro's bold farce last year in Venezuela.)
