Something that I’ve been thinking about for at least ten years now, and I don’t know if anyone else has thought this or if this is even close to being accurate but here it is.
We all know that aristocratic rule engendered its opposite, which was bourgeois rule, which overturned the aristocratic order, setting itself up to eventually be overturned by a workers’s revolution. What if the conditions are no longer present to bring about a workers revolution? Dialectically speaking, it would no longer be possible. Or… what if working class revolutions actually did overthrow the bourgeois order and that’s what we’re living in today. The European Union, the World Economic Forum, the IMF/World Bank, China as an economic superpower, etc.. We always knew there was no blueprint.
