I don't know this paper below, but an article in FT that I cannot get a hold of today, notes that a "Senior German MP says vote was ‘successfully’ manipulated by foreign actors".

Although to be honest - maybe such manipulation was not entirely 'necessary' [for the reactionaries] in this particular instance - at this time. We have had sporadic discussion of AI generated 'news'. But no substantial approaches to what might be progressive demands around this. How should these be framed? Asking - I do not have any ideas how - or even if - this could be done. I suspect it is not a question of 'if' really, but more a 'how'.
