Saman Sepehri and John Edmundson are consciously misrepresenting what I meant. I made it clear: I wrote: "If you are a union officer, or are active in a union, we suggest you try to get your union to pass a resolution supporting the revolution and also asking the Iran Labor Confederation their view on the call for an international labor boycott of Iran oil."
In other words, I was talking about a labor boycott. Maybe they oppose that. In that case, do they also oppose the BDS movement? How about the movement to economically isolate South Africa during the apartheid days - maybe they would have opposed that too? In that case they can join today's Zionists and the supporters of apartheid back at that time. Or maybe the real issue is that they think there is something "progressive" about the fascistic, theocratic and corrupt Iran regime because it's in conflict with US imperialism and is in the camp of Russian imperialism instead? Maybe they don't really want to see any practical support for that revolution. In that case, they should say so.
