John, investigation is good. But what do we know? Many thousands of people have flooded the streets and stood up to the Iranian regime's security forces, which opened fire on them in some cases. The result is thousands of dead. Now, Mossad and the CIA no doubt have agents inside Iran. But can they mobilize thousands of people to risk their lives? How? Do they pay them? How much? When you see videos of thousands of people marching and protesting -- really? Is this the work of Israeli agents? No doubt this movement has different trends which have different goals and methods. But that doesn't mean leftists should hold back from endorsing it and helping it.
And what do we know about the Iranian regime? It has murdered many thousands of leftists, some who were communists, others who were simply demanding democratic rights of one sort or another. You say you know campists who are holding back from endorsing the present protest movement until they learn more about it.
