I am a long time admirer of Noam and have also been shocked (well, maybe surprised is a better word) at his ongoing relationship with Epsten.
I think one possible explanation is that NOAM was always incredibly generous --- he would routinely write long answers to anyone who approached him --- giving everyone the benefit of his knowledge. It is possible that EPSTEIN approached him first and he just answered. OR --- it is possible he was fund-raising (but I never knew him to be in that "end" of the business) --- I think we have to chalk this up to NOBODY's PERFECT and not make too much of a deal about this.
