Two Mexican navy vessels carrying more than 800 tons of humanitarian aid
departed Veracruz for Cuba on Sunday, while President Claudia Sheinbaum
pledged on Monday that Mexico will provide more support to the embattled
Caribbean island nation.

Last week Sheinbaum said until the situation with Cuba getting foreign oil
gets resolved in a diplomatic way her country will provide humanitarian aid.

On Monday, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel thanked Mexico for it's
solidarity amid the tightening US blockade against his country.
