Too many unfortunately puff themselves up with the names, symbols, and demands
of the mass parties of yesteryear in an effort to look bigger and more
influential than they are which further contributes to the image of a Potemkin
Village.

Their redeeming feature is that their analysis of global affairs is generally
superior to the mainstream media even though they lack the resources to do the
kind of first-hand reporting which was available to the Daily Worker and other
publications representing the views of the mass parties of the working class.
