The most radical solution to monopoly capitalism is socialist capitalism, which does not demonize unearned income. Hyper-consumption and infinite power are may be needed to preserve wage dependence, but that will preserve monopoly capitalism, and will prevent the only real solution; EXPROPRIATE ALL THE UNEARNED INCOME. The destructive form of capitalism that is evil is class monopoly capitalism. A sustainable economy adjusts to the drastic reduction is paid employment need to harvest the free wealth of nature by the radical takeover on unearned income. Democratic capitalism must accept the best part of ownership, unearned income, and make it all public. That is the kind of radical that we need. By taking public ownership of productive assets and ending the "need" for wage-dependent consumption growth we will end any need for fusion, drill baby drill, and other ways to maximize insane planet plunder.
