To be clear and contrary to the false impression left by Charles: I really don't care that much which of the Democrats is elected governor. My sole concern is that we don't have a Trump clone as governor. Maybe Charles doesn't care, but I do. At this point, the polls are showing that the Trump clone Bianco is down low enough in the polls that it seems very unlikely that we'll have a "choice" between him and the other Trump clone. As far as the two top Democrats, I know that all the "progressives" are endorsing Steyer because he has the "progressive" cred, but I just gag at the thought of having a governor who was elected purely because he's a billionaire who literally bought his way into office. That's why as things stand now, I'll probably vote for Becerra although he seems to be a real tool of the Schumer wing of the Democratic Party. But, contrary to what the head-in-the-clouds sectarians think, there is a difference between bourgeois democracy and right wing, fascist-connected dictatorship.
