I would not claim to be across the details but didn't Stalin arm the Israelis and but for him the Arabs would have won? Moreover it is clear that Putin has very close connections to the Israeli politicians. Naftali Bennet was in Moscow at the launch of the invasion of Ukraine and his visit was a sign of the close ties between the Putin clique and Tel Aviv. Moreover Israeli politics would look different, perhaps, without the 1 million odd russian migrants that Putin permitted to go to Israel.
My point is that the equation of Russia = Antsemitism is maybe too glib a formulation.
