On July 5, a National Joint Rally of Migrant Workers was held in front
of the main gate of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan under the
slogans: "/Withdraw the Bad Contract! Cancel Wage Cuts! End
Discriminatory Treatment!/"
The rally brought together the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions
(KCTU), the Korean Metal Workers' Union (KMWU), the Ulsan Migrants'
Center, and numerous labor, migrant, human rights, and civil society
organizations. Korean workers, migrant workers, and solidarity activists
from across the country participated to condemn HD Hyundai Heavy
Industries' discrimination and exploitation and demand full rights for
migrant workers.
