I like Mark's inclusion of the climate issue. The rest of his contribution doesn't much differentiate it politically from the DSA's more succinct summary. Charles predictably draws on the language and imagery of the Bolsheviks and is oblivious to the political consciousness of the US working class which is far from revolutionary. Ironically, it is the left reformist DSA, the subject of the criticism, which has made some inroads into the class and is presently its most advanced expression.
