David Walters commented that an article from the Atlantic that I referred to is behind a paywall. I'm pretty sure I've pointed this out before, but in any case, one can get around almost all paywalls by copying the url, opening archive.fo, and pasting the url there. (I use that all the time to read the NYT's sports section!)
