I'm glad to see that Ben Seattle is publicly raising the issue of Trump's plans to steal the election. Ben is absolutely correct that the major news outlets are raising it. The NY Times has regular stories on it and it's mentioned several times a day on CNN. Some Democrats are also raising the threat. Just yesterday, CNN had a lengthy interview with Democratic congressman Jason Crow on the issue. (See my facebook page <https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61576199757446>. I posted a photo of the TV with Crow's interview on it.) It is shocking that both the union leadership and socialists are silent as a churchmouse. Well, I guess I shouldn't say "shocking", maybe "disgraceful" is a better word. Ben condemns DSA and he's right up to a point, but let's not forget that some of the caucuses in DSA call themselves "Marxist Leninist" and all sorts of other rrreally rrrevolutionary terms. they are silent too. So is the left outside of DSA, from Code Pink to the Green Party to all manner of other proclaimed revolutionary socialists.
If anything, I think Ben should emphasize this danger even more. Trump is mobilizing ICE, Republican "poll watchers", etc. Trump will be nearly totally unleashed if he is able to get away with it. The U.S. will have crossed a rubicon. Think Minneapolis on a national scale, or rather Minneapolis crushed on a national scale. I don't agree with Ben that the capitalist class is in support of this, but that's secondary at this point.
