The 'Connect' option is kept enabled becuase the user has the option of starting the mashup server using the windows service manager, using a comman line to invoke the wrapper or simply not using the installer and then starting the server usinig the batch file. In all of these scenarios, if polling has been turned off or the retry limit has been reached, the user can start controlling the running server by 'connecting' the monitor.
