Installer Prompt for Desired JDK
--------------------------------
Key: MASHUP-491
URL: http://wso2.org/jira/browse/MASHUP-491
Project: WSO2 Mashup Server
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: Build
Affects Versions: 1.0
Environment: Win32 Installer
Reporter: Beren Erchamion
Assigned To: Channa Gunawardena
Priority: Minor
When using the Win32 installer if an issue finding a JDK to use comes up, the
installer should prompt the user about what to do. If there are multiple JDK's
found then it should ask which one to use. If there is no JDK found at all it
should prompt the user for the correct location or force the user to cancel so
that they can install one and try again.
To me the selection of the correct JDK is a definite need since most Java
developers will have a number of JDKs installed and almost never will the
system one (basically the one your default browser uses) be the one you want to
develop with.
